AN UNFORTUNATE MIX

January CARIBBEAN MEMO 2012

Date: 01-Jan-12
From: News Center Publications
Subject: January Caribbean Memo-2012

Dear Friends:

Leaders of six Latin American countries have met with Iran’s leader, Mahmud Ahmadineyad, in the Caribbean and Central America.

After attending the inaugural ceremony of President Daniel Ortega, sworn in for the second time in Nicaragua, he traveled to Cuba, where he met with Fidel Castro.

Ahmadineyad talked with the other five at the Ortega ceremony.

They were the current and Guatemala’s President-elect, Alvaro Colom and Otto Perez Molina; President Maurico Funes of El Salvador; and President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.

Politically, the meeting was a volatile mix of Latin America’s political left and the Middle East’s Islamic extremists.

It was Ahmadineyad’s area of the world that planned and carried out the Sept. 11, 2001 attack in New York City against the United States.

We write about this kind of thing for a reason, our interest in the Caribbean and Latin America.

And we think we've done that with our five novels. They can be viewed on our WebSite. After starting at Yahoo.com, go to:http://www.natcarnes.com and click News Center Publications.

A Caribbean Memo collection can also be found on OUR BLOG:http://www.natcarnes.blogspot.com. Scroll down to `View My Complete Profile' and CLICK. We've also added a new section: The Religious Corner.

With each purchase, let us know and we'll send free of charge an e-book version.

They can be read on any hand-held device with e-mail capability.

Remember, we are interested in your comments, pro and con. In other words, that's how we learn.

And please let us know if you want your name taken off the Caribbean Memo list.
